MACHINES OF LOVING GRACE 3.0

image image

The piece has a diegetic character. It relates to an untold fiction and a possible future where intelligent machines control every aspect of our life and privacy. With small poetic gestures, they challenge our humanity. A screen acts like a digital mirror displaying the poem *All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace* (Richard Brautigan, 1967). The image mimics the effect produced on a bathroom glass by steam. The writing simulates human handwriting made with a finger.
